The main principle of outdoor recreational activities is to “Learn by Living” in line with the aims of the participants. Movement freedom available in outdoor areas make it possible for the group to enjoy dynamism and to use natural resources efficiently. Participants improve their basic personality traits such as being part of a group, common sharing, risk taking, self- confidence, leadership, result oriented strategy building etc. through these outdoor recreational activities.
Outdoor activities play an important role in revealing inner- or situational problems of the individual.
While struggling with different kinds of environmental conditions, the group learns how to respect different opinions and how to develop mutual trust with group members. Consequently, people who own different cognitive and physical capacities but work in the same work place strive to achieve a common aim together.
